Declutter then spend time doing the things you love

Writer: Carina PopeCarina Pope

By spending a little (or a lot initially) of time decluttering your home you are ultimately gifting yourself time.

So many of my clients tell me how time poor they are, but that’s mostly due to being surrounded by clutter & a huge chunk of that precious time is taken up by looking for items & feeling the pressure of having so much to do.

Look at a ‘one off big declutter’ as an investment into your own life, once the initial hard work is completed it’s a case of ‘little & often’ & the KEY to clutter free living is to keep on top of the ‘creeping clutter’ you know, those corners that build with random items, the mail that needs sifting through, the clothes that are now outgrown.

Every few months pick one category & have a mini declutter, it’ll probably only take minutes but is extremely important in keeping clutter at bay.

By disciplining yourself to incorporate this into your lifestyle you will find you have much more free time to spend as you wish, doing what you love with those you love.
