The most tricky part!

Writer: Carina PopeCarina Pope

Once you’ve decluttered it’s easy to procrastinate over actually removing the items from your home, here are some easy ways to get rid!

Drop off to your local charity shop or ask if they collect, most do offer a collection service for large amounts. For furniture & larger items British heart foundation have a collection service. Another charity collection service is ‘doorstep collections’ they do what they say… arrange your collection via their website. Take your items to a car boot sale & if you have anything left take it straight to the charity shop on your way home! Advertise your items on local selling sites. Dunelm offer various recycling options… fabrics, old electricals, kitchenware etc SEE THEIR WEBSITE FOR FULL INFO. Sainsburys stores offer a makeup recycling service (check your local store) Tesco offer a clothes recycling service (check your local store) Clothes past their best or non repairable plus other textiles can be taken to the giant recycling bins usually found in supermarket car parks. Don’t forget for most other household rubbish & larger recycling your local tip/recycling centres are the place.

Hope this helps.

Have a lovely weekend.
